DISNEY WORLD VLOG | exploring boardwalk, my first time riding the skyliner 🚠, Flying Fish dinner

hi friends! welcome to another Disney vlog!

we start the day at our resort, Port Orleans French Quarter, before heading over to Art of Animation to explore the Cars area. We snapped so many photos and loved spotting all the fun animation references throughout the resort.

next up… my first ever ride on the Disney Skyliner! 🚠 we were so excited, and even lucked out with our own private gondola. The Skyliner dropped us into EPCOT for our very last Lightning Lane 😢 — Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, which was absolutely epic (as always).

we had planned to eat around the world for lunch, but Florida had other ideas and hit us with torrential rain — boo! ☔ Thankfully, France came to the rescue with a very fancy glass of rosé champagne (highly recommend).

from EPCOT, we hopped on the Friendship Boat over to Disney’s BoardWalk, where we strolled the promenade, took in the views, and treated ourselves at The Cake Bake Shop. I went for an apple crumble pie slice, and Richard chose a rich chocolate cake — covered in gold glitter, of course ✨

after heading back to the resort to relax, we got all glammed up for dinner back at… yes, you guessed it — the BoardWalk again! This time to try Flying Fish, a very underrated seafood restaurant in my opinion. It was on the Disney Dining Plan and Richard’s choice — and honestly, he did so good.

we started with the bread service (potato and chive sourdough), shared a lobster bisque, and then both ordered the steak — exactly what you should get at a seafood restaurant, right? 😂

the evening continued with classic BoardWalk entertainment: a barbershop quartet, watching the EPCOT fireworks from the promenade, a little boogie at the Atlantic Dance Hall, and finally a tasty tipple or two at AbracadaBar.

It was such a fun-packed, magical day — and the perfect way to spend a Disney day towards the end of our holiday ✨
