Dziekanowski signed for Celtic earlier that season on July 14 from Legia Warsaw and it wasn’t long before he was christened ‘Jacki’ by supporters.

The Pole quickly became a cult hero with the Celtic fans and although his three years with the club may not have overflowing with games, goals or medals for the striker, he certainly caught the attention of the fans – and the media.
