Описание: When in Naples, taking a day trip to Ercolano and Mount Vesuvius is worth it. Take the regular train from Napoli to Ercolano station. Once exit the station, you can find tourism office where you can get tourist tour package which includes bus ride to and from Ercolano to Mount Vesuvius plus the entry fee to Mount Vesuvius, Herculaneum and Pompeii.

If you decide to hike the Mount Vesuvius, please make sure you wear comfortable shoes since it is quite a hike. During sunny day, wear hat or use umbrella help as this place is open.

Ercolano is a town and comune in the Metropolitan City of Naples, Campania of Southern Italy. It lies at the western foot of Mount Vesuvius. The medieval town of Resina was built on the volcanic material left by the eruption of Vesuvius (79 AD) that destroyed the ancient city of Herculaneum, from which the present name is derived.
