It is not unbiblical to feel grief, sorrow, anger, or pain.
Jesus Himself wept at the tomb of Lazarus (John 11:35).
But notice this: Jesus did not stay in the sorrow.
He acknowledged the pain, submitted it to the Father, and then acted in faith and obedience (John 11:41–44).
As followers of Christ, we are invited to feel our emotions honestly—but not to be ruled by them.
Scripture calls us to cast our cares on Him (1 Peter 5:7), to pour out our hearts before God (Psalm 62:8), and then to walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
Emotions are signals, not masters.
Surrender does not mean suppression—it means trust.
And trust makes room for resurrection power.
Feel deeply.
Submit fully.
Walk forward with Christ.
