Weekly Vlog 8: A Chatty Week | Family Celebrations | Laundry Game Changer | Too soon for Christmas?

Описание: Welcome back to Weekly Vlog 8, friends. This week was another busy week. We celebrated my eldest son's birthday and his girlfriend came over from the UK to spend the week with us.
I had 2 friend catchups to discuss 2026 plans which was fun but feels so far away at the moment. I'll talk about those plans more next year as I'll be taking you all along with me.
I also spent a lovely afternoon in my studio and it felt so good to be in my space again. I'll be spending more time there again and I can't wait. I also filmed another episode of Chit Chat Wednesday which was a very difficult story to share with you. Thank you for all the kind comments on that video and for those of you who felt you couldn't watch, I totally understand.
It also feels like Christmas is so far off but its not really and I'm feeling a bit confused about when to start prepping and planning. I did swing by my favourite garden centre and restrained myself.. mostly. I'll be back to show you that during Vlogmas because yet again they've done a great job.
The weather is still very unpredictable here, one day its hot then the next day its cold and, its becoming difficult to get clothing dry. We finally invested in a de-humidifier with a laundry mode on it and oh wow, its a game changer. Its cut down on condensation and halved the drying time of the washing. Super happy with it!
Of course we have shopping hauls and a surprise gift this week. I must say the honey we bought from the farmer market is delicious and perfect for helping to boost our immune systems.
