Two former Met officers were burgled when on holiday have condoned the police force's efforts to investigate the crime.
Bethany and Paul Eaton from Chislehurst were contacted on their way home from Dubai by their childminder who had said their back door was smashed in.
The Eaton's contacted their neighbour who contacted the police who said they would be in touch within 24 hours. It took an Ocado delivery driver who was passing to check the house.
