Join Grave Encounters UK as we investigate one of the Wirral’s most atmospheric and historically rich locations — Rake Lane Cemetery.

This cemetery holds deep maritime roots, serving as the final resting place for ship captains, sailors, crew members, and those whose lives were shaped by the sea. From merchant vessels to coastal guardians, the stories buried here span generations of seafaring history.

During this investigation, we experienced intense and unexplained paranormal activity, including:

K2 meters repeatedly lighting up with no natural explanation

Strong maritime-related responses throughout the night

Intelligent interaction using a cat ball

A piece of equipment violently flung across the ground

Disturbing EVP sessions that appeared to capture children’s voices

With the wind rolling in from the coast and the cemetery wrapped in darkness, the atmosphere quickly turned unsettling. Whether these encounters are the spirits of sailors still standing watch… or something far darker lingering among the graves… we’ll let you decide.
