Crowden Clough is a fairly straightforward grade 1 scramble (can be made a little bit more difficult, taking it up to a grade 2 scramble in places). It's one of the easiest Peak District scrambles and therefore makes it a good choice for scrambling for beginners.

The route starts at the Barber Booth Hope Car Park which can be found in the Hope Valley, near to S33 7ZL. This is one of the easier Peak District Hikes, and for this route we used the guide book 'Scrambles in the Dark Peak', which you can get here: https://amzn.to/3wZon5n

After you complete the scramble, it's a straightforward route to carry onto Kinder Scout and see the Kinder Scout waterfall known as Kinder Downfall. After we completed this, we stopped over nearby for the evening in our stealth camping van - you can see this in my next video.
