One of the most scenic road in China.

The Skyline Highway begins in Guyuan County, situated at the border of Zhangjiakou and Chengde in the east, and extends to Shangyi County, which lies at the border of Hebei Province and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the west.

The total length is 323.9 km, divided into three sections: the Eastern Route, the Middle Route, and the Western Route.
Eastern Route - Guyuan Section begins near the Lightning Lake Scenic Area.
Middle Route - Zhangbei Section begins at Huapiling in the east and concludes at Yehuling in the west. This section is the earliest and most scenic to be opened to traffic.
Western Route - Shangyi Section has its western endpoint situated near the Daqingshan Scenic Area.


In this video, we traveled along both the Central and Western routes.
This is the most scenic and popular section of the Skyline Route.
Sunrise that day was at 5:17 AM, and the weather was clear. We embarked on this journey shortly after the sun rose.

Basking in the morning sun and soaking in the scenery before us, one can feel the healing power of nature.
