It’s Monday afternoon, February 17, 2025, aboard the best passenger train in the world, VIA Rail train 2, the Canadian, headed from Park Central station, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to Toronto Union Station, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
We depart Vancouver in our dome observation car Prince Albert Park lower level and upper level, crossing the Fraser River then following along it and along the Canadian National Railway freight yard.
Then we walk through our Prestige Class sleeping car, our dining car all set for the first call for dinner, several sleeping cars and our Skyline dome car, ending at my sleeping cars, Monck Manor, and have a look at my upper berth number 2 before it’s lowered for sleeping.
