Charcoal can be sealed successfully to your canvas. In this video I explain the step-by-step process of how I easily seal my charcoal drawing to my canvas. This works whether using a stretched canvas or a canvas panel. Once the charcoal is sealed, I can use acrylic paint or oil paint and create a beautiful painting over the sealed surface.
