Gurdaspur MP Sunny Deol attended a BJP rally in favour of Capt Abhimanyu in Narnaund Assembly segment on Thursday.
On the occasion, Capt Abhimanyu sought apology from the electorate if he committed any mistake and promised to make amends.
Addressing the public meeting in Lohari Ragho village of the segment, Sunny used his famed dialogue to seek votes. “Tarikh par tarikh, lekin 21 taarikh (voting day) yaad rakhna. Kamal ke phool ko yaad rakhna,” he urged the voters, calling Capt his younger brother who had helped him during his campaingn in Gurdaspur.
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
