I had the wonderful opportunity to spend some time with Helen, Ian and their kids Isobel and Archie. The farm is managed according to the Holistic Management principles.
Picot's farm manages 1000 acres in Warwick, 2 hours from Brisbane in eastern Australia.Their property is a mixture of productive flood plains, timbered range lands and incredible views. Helen and Ian use the cattle to regenerate soils thanks to the Holistic Management principles. They sell the meat locally and have diversification projects for the future.
In this video Helen explains the importance of biological monitoring on the land to check how it evolves and to make decisions.
