Most Attractive Eyes in the World! If you are a Stalk-eyed Fly

Описание: What is up with this fly? The eyes are way out at the very end of these long stalks. Well it is because female stalk-eyed flies probably find these far apart eyes kind of hot. A male with a wider eye span gets more abdomen because the genes for greater eye spans have become linked to the female preference for wider eye spans in a classic example of sexual selection. However other researchers have found that some of these flies have factors on the genome that make it more likely for female offspring, except the mega chad flies, who have more even odds of siring males or females, thus it may be that eyespan is linked to having more sexy sons in a female biased population.
