Back in the day, many of these four-door Impalas ended up as demolition derby cars, which means surviving examples, especially in good condition, are getting harder and harder to find.

That’s why this particular build is something we’re taking to heart. The team is fully committed to exceeding the customer’s expectations and restoring this Impala with the care it deserves.

Right now, we’ve got Mike carefully disassembling the original hood structure. He’s prepping it for an upgrade—replacing the inner panel with a cleaner, less rusted piece that will help preserve both the look and integrity of the car for years to come.

Meanwhile, Sam is diving into the fabrication and bodywork on the front fender, which took a heavy hit in an accident—the very reason this Impala ended up in our shop. He’s meticulously reshaping and rebuilding the crushed area to ensure the panel lines up just right, blending restoration and craftsmanship to bring this rare four-door beauty back to life.
