The accusations involve gold smuggling operations at Kozhikode Airport. This decision followed a recent meeting of senior customs officials in Kochi.

Anvar alleges that Das and his team seized gold smuggled through Kozhikode Airport but took a substantial portion for personal use, while only documenting the remaining gold in official records.

Additionally, Anvar has made similar claims against Additional Director General of Police M.R. Ajith Kumar and customs officials stationed at Kozhikode Airport. Kumar has been alleged to be the right hand man of Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan's former secretary Swapna Suresh.
