I am using a 12" x 12" stretched canvas. The colors I am using are mostly Prizm pour acrylic colors and Primary Elements Pigment powders by Colour Arte.

Saffron-P.P.- Red Violet-VIF-Orange Crush-P.P. Sour Lemon with added Orange Crush-P.P.


The base layer of paint is used to encourage the swipe and flow of the paint. is
Artist Loft white mixed with Floetrol 3/4 with 1/4GAC 800 -50-50 and then mixed again with 1/2 White Satin latex from Sherwin Williams

Meeden Black acrylic combined with a mix of Floetrol 3/4 with 1/4GAC 800

Cell activators are created using Australian Floetrol. I use a variety of acrylic paint brands most commonly Amsterdam ( Black or White) I also use Pebeo Iridescent & Atelier Rich Gold here a 50% paint & 50% Aussie Floetrol mixed.
many use more AF and there are many paint brands that will work (but not all).

Recipes for mixing Prizm Pour paint, for general pouring and blooms. The Prizm Pour Acrylic paints are mixed with either Vivid Poly Pour or Vivid enamel ( both available from Colour Arte )as pouring mediums with additions of GAC 800 and Jo Sonja Gloss Varnish.
To mix a batch of pouring medium in a container large enough to hold a substantial quantity, start by adding 25%GAC 800(into a resealable container) that will hold and store the quaintly of pouring medium) The GAC both helps it to flow and prevents cracking(if the mixed paints are left too heavy).
After the GAC800 use Vivid Poly Pour or Vivid Enamel and fill to the halfway point, This is when I add a healthy squirt of Jo Sonja Gloss varnish and resume filling the remainder of the container with more Vivid Poly Pour or Vivid Enamel (whichever I am using). Use this pouring medium for Prizm Pours and Primary Elements Pigment powders. I half a large mouth squeeze bottle to the halfway mark and add Prizm pour paint to within an inch of the bottle opening. I use the handle from a spatula (head removed) to mix. If the mixture is too thick (often) I begin to add distilled water to thin the mix stirring thoroughly between additions of more water. You can do this anywhere from 5% to max 25%.
If you are not using a mica-based product you can use using Floetrol to thin the mix and benefit from the leveling quality.
I recommend(at most) an estimated 10%-20% of the already mixed pouring medium.
Vivid Intense and Vivid intense acrylics can be used to tint straight pouring medium for colors.
Mixing pigment powders begins with a receptacle that will hold the amount you expect to fill an application container with.
Add a couple of tablespoons of Pouring medium to the mixing container (BOWLs work best for me) and (wearing a mask) scoop out a heaping portion of powder. You can stir thoroughly but I use a whisk (clean by immediately dipping into rinse water and shaking thoroughly directly after each use) after the powder is dissolved ( add more for stronger colors or larger quantities) finish by adding the necessary quantity and mix again until thoroughly combined. Bonus -if using a whisk it is possible to add more powder if necessary without issue.
