To get the correct length, you can use this formula: (300/f(MHz))/4=L(counterpoise)
An example - We need a counterpoise for the PHONE portion of the 10M band and frequency 28.450MHz:
300/28.450 = 10,49m
10,49m/4 = 2.62m
Length of counterpoise wire should be 2.62m

This Vertical Antenna is very small and lightweight and fits in to a small bags. Can be used for 12M band, 11M (CB) band and 10M band and is nice companion for Xiegu X6100, 6200 or ICOM 705. There are two counterpoises, one for 12 and second one for 10M band.
