Kite trip across the Icelandic highlands, from Gullfoss to Myri in Bardardal. We spent five days on this trip, three of which we were actively kiting and two spent waiting for better weather. (In Gullfoss and Laugafell.) The tour took us from the southeast of Iceland to the north, crossing the interior highlands. We crossed Langjökull, Iceland's second largest glacier and Hofsjökull, Iceland's largest volcano and third largest glacier. The total kited distance was about 280 km.
The ever changing weather on an island located in the middle of the ocean created challenging but beautiful conditions. We'll be back!
