Exploring a Controversial Abandoned Jail in NJ + Trespassing Case UPDATE

Описание: Join me as I explore the Old Essex County Jail, Newark's oldest government building that has been abandoned since 1971. This jail was built in 1837 and has been a subject of major controversy due to overcrowding and horrible conditions. The building has faced challenges since the abandonment and despite pushes to demolish it, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. My exploration shows the new controversies that are plaguing this already tarnished site. Despite all of that, the jail is an incredible place to explore and a lot of history remains among the crumbling buildings. I also wanted to give you all an update about my trespassing case in the Sayreville Municipal Court, so stay tuned for a quick update about what has developed!
