Homes are being built on the Petroleumhaven in the Laakkwartier district in The Hague. Studio Flex was allowed to make the construction calculations for these 12 lots that are part of the Laakhaven construction project. These quay houses may be a maximum of 14 meters high and must consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 floors. The houses had to meet various sustainability requirements.
Studio Flex was also allowed to make a final design and an interior design for two of the 12 houses, plot number 7 and 12. This video shows the start of the construction plot number 7.
On the ground floor there will be a garage with a car parking space at the rear facade. The first floor is reached via a staircase. On the first floor there is room for two bedrooms and a bathroom. The living room is realized on the second floor with a reading nook and window seats to look out over the quay. On the third floor there is a spacious terrace with beautiful views of the quay.
