🏡 WHERE WE STAYED
We booked a night at Chaconne Karuizawa Guest House, a simple yet very clean and cozy place to stay. The room was comfortable, and the guesthouse even features live music in the kitchen every day—such a nice touch!

🚴 HOW TO GET AROUND
The best way to explore Karuizawa is by renting a bicycle. It's a fun and relaxing way to see the town and its charming neighborhoods.

🛍️ WHAT TO SEE & DO
We started at Kyu Karuizawa Ginza Shopping Street, a lively area filled with Western-style cafés, bakeries, and adorable specialty stores.

✨ Must-Visit Shops:

Ghibli Store – A dream for fans! So many plushies, figures, and exclusive collectibles—it was hard to choose our favorite!
Snoopy Village – Unique souvenirs including keychains, wallets, and a whole section dedicated to chocolates!
Peter Rabbit Store – Beautifully curated with the cutest themed items.
Miffy Store – Bright, cheerful, and full of irresistible finds.
☕ WHERE WE ATE
We had lunch at Suzu No Ne Café, also known as the "Café in the Woods." The vibe is cozy with a nostalgic-modern feel. We ordered carrot soup and taco rice—both were delicious and perfect for a light lunch.

🌸 BONUS SPOT:
We stumbled upon a quiet alley lined with cherry blossoms, leading to a tranquil temple—a truly peaceful moment in our journey.

🌊 SHIRAITO WATERFALL (白糸の滝)
In the afternoon, we drove to the famous Shiraito no Taki, meaning "The Waterfall of White Threads."

This spot is popular, but absolutely worth visiting for its natural beauty and serene vibe.
