Back in high school, I was struggling to make friends and had no idea how to connect with people. Then I discovered Persona 3, and everything started to change.

This video is my story of how the Persona video game series taught me how to build friendships, accept myself, and overcome the things that were holding me back.

I take you through my journey and personal stories of playing Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5 Royal across high school and university, and how each game taught me something different about connection, authenticity, and resilience.

This isn't a game review or analysis. This is a story about how fiction can teach us real lessons when we need them most.

If you've ever struggled with social situations, or felt like you didn't fit in, or found unexpected help in the most unlikely places, I think you'll relate to this story.

Because the truth is that without the Persona game series, my life wouldn’t be the same as it is now. Playing Persona 5 Royal changed my life forever, as is the same with Persona 3 and Persona 4, and they each gave me the confidence I needed to transform my life.

I’m sure my story isn’t the only example of the Persona games have a vast impact on someone’s life. You could even argue that Persona saved me and put me on a good path, one that I continue on to this day.
