Kings of Paradise: A Brutal, Brilliant Indie Read?

I just saw somewhere that it had won the fantasy category in 2018 for the IndieReader Discovery Awards and gave it a whirl. I also couldn't find any information on how many copies Richard Nell has sold, but I can tell you right now, that number should be higher than whatever it is.

That way, no matter what your fantasy preferences are, I can provide some feedback that will be helpful for people considering if they want to give Kings of Paradise a chance.

Richard Nell is an independent author that I don't think is discussed enough. If you're a fan of grim dark fantasy with some classic hopeful hero mixed in, this one might be for you.
