🎙️About Jimmy Rodríguez:
Jimmy Rodríguez, born in Mexico City, is one of the few artists representing Mexican salsa on the international stage, offering a unique proposition in a genre traditionally dominated by artists from Puerto Rico, Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela, and Peru. He began his career singing on buses to support his mother. Later, as a street performer at the Santa Monica Pier, he saved enough money to record his first two professional EPs. His talent led him to become a finalist on ‘La Voz US’, where he performed alongside Carlos Vives, and to tour Central America with Maelo Ruiz, his musical mentor.

Over the years, he has shared the stage with Latin music legends such as Tito Nieves, Marc Anthony, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Luis Enrique, Oscar D’León, La India, and El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico. He has also worked with Motiff, a renowned producer known for collaborating with Gente de Zona, Marc Anthony, and more. With his fresh and authentic voice, Jimmy is on a mission to bring salsa to audiences worldwide, cementing himself as the new voice of the genre



🎙️Sobre Jimmy Rodríguez:
Jimmy Rodríguez, nacido en Ciudad de México, es uno de los pocos representando la salsa de origen mexicano en tierras extranjeras, lo que entrega una propuesta única para el mercado internacional, un género dominado por artistas de Puerto Rico, Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela y Perú.
Comenzó su carrera cantando en autobuses para apoyar a su mamá. Con el dinero que ganaba como ‘street performer’ en el muelle de Santa Mónica, grabó sus dos primeros EP profesionales. Su talento lo llevó a ser finalista de ‘La Voz US’ junto a Carlos Vives y a girar por Centroamérica con Maelo Ruiz, su padrino musical.
Ha compartido escenario con leyendas de la música latina como Tito Nieves, Marc Anthony. Gilberto Santa Rosa, Luis Enrique, Oscar de León, La India y El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico. Además, ha trabajado con Motiff, reconocido productor que ha colaborado con Gente de Zona, Marc Anthony, entre otros. Jimmy busca llevar la salsa al mundo con una voz fresca y auténtica, consolidándose como la nueva voz de la salsa.
