After doing some smaller shows, this is the first show with a larger audience on the tour, as part of the Coca Cola Rock Festival, Brian and his band played a great show at the same venue Queen had played in 11 years earlier. The setlist is the same as Montevideo, but the show is longer due to having some longer performances, as well as Brian doing bits of Chinese Torture during his solo spot, we also have a recording of the soundcheck.
Tonight’s performance has Brian sounding a bit hoarse, despite that he gives a pretty gutsy performance (despite some rough spots, mainly due to nervousness), the band’s playing well though you can also feel the nervousness in spots, the high quality of the broadcast makes this a very enjoyable show from the tour, and we also have footage from TV broadcasts of this performance.
