Guys, just to be clear, the pizza didn't cause my diabetes lol! It just put my blood glucose up after antibodies had killed off my insulin production. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune condition where your body attacks and kills off the insulin producing cells in your pancreas. It is NOT lifestyle driven!
Fyi a couple of comments i missed out: normal sugars are commonly called out as 4mmol to 8mmol (UK). Misunderstandings / preconceptions / judgements of differences between type 1 and type 2 in society and the medical profession is something I'll discuss in a future video!
