Описание: Every July, thousands of Canadian seniors lose the Guaranteed Income Supplement — over $1,000 a month, tax-free — and Service Canada never calls to warn them.
In this video I walk you through exactly what to file, when to file it, and how to get your GIS back if it already stopped — including the spouse and involuntary-separation trap almost nobody knows about.

Your GIS is not permanent — it renews every year based on your income, and your tax return IS your renewal. File every single year by April 30, even if you earned zero, or your Guaranteed Income Supplement can be cut to zero in July. If your payments already stopped, you can still file and claim retroactive back pay going back many months. Newly retired? The Statement of Income form (ISP-3026) can qualify you a full year earlier. And if you have a spouse, BOTH of you must file — plus the involuntary separation rule that can raise your payment when you live apart for health or care reasons.

This is plain-English help on GIS, OAS, CPP, the OAS clawback, CRA tax credits, and Service Canada benefits for Canadian seniors — real dollar figures and clear action steps. Coverage for every province.
