Work in progress (unfinished) music video for the Apaches of Paris. Song written by Blaze Foley. Nick Travis on bass, Julieann Banks on acoustic guitar and vocals, Paul LeMond on guitar and Justin Hess on drums. Video by Kevin Triplett for the Blaze Foley documentary project. Nick suggested the visual of an extreme closeup on the bass strings. He detuned his bass so that the strings would vibrate wildly. It's visible mostly in that opening shot. That's my most memorable part of shooting this video. It was shot using two cameras, both with 35mm lens adapters. All the rage at the time, now we can get the same shots in HD using DLSR cameras. How times have changed....rest in peace, Nick.
