PONY BEADS!!
You only need 2 to make your mask fully adjustable, and they are CHEAP and can be bought almost everywhere. You might even have some in your supply already!

EDIT 7/17/20: Now that I know not all pony beads are the same size, here are the dimensions of the ones I use as well as a link to the ones I bought that work with my 1/4" elastic. Enjoy!
