Alien is a 1979 science fiction horror movie directed by Ridley Scott starring Sigourney Weaver. The xenomorph would go onto become one of the scariest monsters in film alongside it’s nemesis the yautja. In this review I explain my thoughts on why this is such an excellent story. Hopefully Romulus will live up to the franchise but after Covenant it has a lot to prove to audiences. And with other entries like Resurrection, the AVP movies and Prometheus being equally controversial the sequel / prequel should be interesting.
