A short video showing Paddle Steamer Waverley departing Greenock to head up river to Glasgow on Thursday 12th July 2018.
Waverley had completed her day cruise and was heading up river with only crew on board. She is also captured passing the former site of the most famous shipyard on Clydeside - John Brown’s - and the Titan Crane.
The Titan Crane was designed and used in the lifting of heavy equipment, such as engines and boilers at the John Brown & Company shipyard. It was the world's first electrically powered cantilever crane, and the largest crane of its type at the time of its completion.
