Описание: Drakensberg Lower Traverse is a 12 night overnight hike from Bushman's Neck Camp in the Southern Drakensberg to Royal Natal in the Northern Drakensberg. This hike was a non stop hike, staying in a new location every night, hiking on foot for 260km while being resupplied with a support vehicle in certain camps. The Drakensberg Lower Traverse, joins dozens of exiting trails in the Small Berg (all in South Africa and not like the Grand Traverse in Lesotho). Many paths are well established, while many areas are either overgrown or have not paths connecting certain camps. The Camps visited in order are Bushman's Neck, Garden Castle (Brooklands Berg Cottage), Cobham, Vergelegen, Lotheni, Giants Castle, Injasuti, Blind Man's Corner, Didima (Cathedral Peak), Mweni Cultural Centre, Royal Natal. There were a few days in the wilderness too.
