ROCKET - Fast Pharma

Описание: The aim of the ROCKET innovation project “Fast Pharma” is the research and development of a fast micro gas chromatograph (microGC) for the solvent analysis of the pharmaceutical market. The most important advantages are:

Faster analysis time from 20 minutes to within 1 minute
Reduction of sample volume from 5 ml to less than 50 μl
Reduced laboratory space requirement of 1 m³ to the size of a lunchbox

Since large pharmaceutical applications use fluidic samples instead of gaseous samples, the fluidic samples must be vaporized and the vaporized gas must be kept at a higher temperature inside the instrument to avoid condensation. To achieve this, the following tasks must be performed:

Development of an injection block (a liquid sample evaporator)
Development of a heated inlet line to guide the vaporized gas from the injection block into the microGC
Increase the permissible temperature in the GC to at least 100° C.
