A major part of Gil's life-work is to open the gate to the secrets that will lead people above and behind the narrow-minded existence of "ME" , into the open space of "US".
Gil Ron Shama is the co-founder of the Israeli world-known ensemble- 'Sheva', that won the Best Live Album of the Year Award for the 2006 IMA competition, as well as other appraised music ensembles.
Gil was appointed as a cultural ambassador of goodwill on behalf of Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Muslim countries, and was given an honor membership in several Sufi's fraternities.
