Описание: Fighting for a Space is a mini documentary created for MND611, focused on highlighting a niche media group that has historically been underrepresented in mainstream sports coverage: women in combat sports.

Through interviews, gym culture, and lived experiences, this project explores how women are carving out space in a traditionally male-dominated arena — not just as fighters, but as athletes, leaders, and community builders. Rather than asking for permission, these women are redefining what belonging looks like inside the ring, the gym, and the media.

This documentary is part of the Girls in Gloves series, which centers women’s voices, visibility, and growth within combat sports culture.
