The Miracle of the Hudson | Fenix A320 | Real Airline Pilot

I'm Emanuel, I'm a real airline pilot on the B737 and in this video we'll try to recreate the hudson river landing in January 2009 using the Fenix A320 for MSFS.

A couple of notes:
It looks like the all engines inoperative gliding distance of the Fenix is quite a bit worse than the real A320 since it was impossible to recreate the exact flightpath of the real flight without hitting the water much too soon.
To compensate for it I accelerated to a slightly faster speed before the failure happened in order to get a little more energy. This of course led to a slightly higher altitude (around 3800ft vs 3200ft of the real flight) when the bird strike happened and therefore also a greater turning distance. I also had to cut ATC audio a little to match the simulator flight path.
These inaccuracies are therefore intended and were unavoidable with the limitations MSFS currently places on us.
