Whale Watching in Húsavík & a Cliffside Hot Spring: The Finale of Our Iceland Trip! (Days 9 & 10)

We were super bummed that it was our last few days in Iceland, but we had a great time nonetheless! We saw humpback whales, glimpsed some dolphins, and possibly a blue whale! We explored Húsavik and took a dip in a gorgeous hot spring overlooking the City of Akureyri. We celebrated with our fellow adventurers for one last night and then enjoyed some time in Reykjavik before finally flying home!

The hot spring is a bit difficult to find, but if you just get to these coordinates, you can easily follow the path to the overlook: 65°41'38.4"N 18°03'31.4"W

So that was our 7-day Vanlife tour! We caravanned with 40 other travelers from around the world, exploring the island in our own individual "homes on wheels."
