Описание: Alessandro Bonci (1870-1940) was a lyric tenor who enjoyed an international career that spanned more that three decades. His debut was as Fenton in Verdi's Falstaff in Parma in 1896. Before long, Bonci had secured a contract at La Scala to sing Arturo in I Puritani. Bonci also performed in London, Rome, New York, Chicago and other major opera centers before retiring from the stage in the mid 1920s. This piano accompanied version of "Che gelida manina" from Puccini's La Bohème is one of Bonci's earliest recordings, made for Fonotipia in 1905.
