Slipknot - Confessions (Bass Cover)

Описание: From one left-handed bassist to another. This is my tribute to Paul Gray. I really wanted to learn this song as a teenager when I first heard it. This track shows me how disciplined Paul Gray really was because it shows a side of his musicianship not many people have heard. It shows that he had the ability to do 'flashy' techniques, improvisational type grooves, and cool licks. When bassists start to improve their musicianship, a lot of us have the tendency to use our skill but sometimes in the wrong type of band/song/etc. There's a ton of speculation regarding if Paul actually played on this track or not. So far I have found that there is no proof that he didn't, although I can see why many would believe that he didn't, given that there isn't a ton of prominent flash or quirky groove in Slipknot tracks. Paul Gray could always hang in the background and provide a solid steady roll for the Slipknot we all know and love today. I tried hard to hone my ear into learning this bass part and I think I've got it more or less. I hope you enjoy it! Feel free to comment and subscribe.
