The audio you're hearing is a single take on the ASM Hydrasynth (Desktop) mixed with the sounds of my backyard. Using the onboard mod matrix, I routed the Hydrasynth's oscillators, envelopes and LFO's into each other to create a patch that slowly modulates on its own over time (see patch notes below for specifics). This patch had a soothing vibe and I found myself listening to it in the background while I worked, so I took it outside and recorded a 30 minute live take to share with you.

PATCH NOTES:
◆ LFO 5+ uses sample & hold to modulate the ARP section, which is used in random mode at 30 bpm to trigger each "note"
◆ LFO 4 is a 13 step sequence that modulates the pitch of OSC 2
◆ LFO 3 is a 7 step sequence that modulates the pitch of OSC 1
◆ LFO 2 is a 10 step sequence that modulates the pitch of OSC 3
◆ ENV 5 triggers a 12 second looping wave scan of OSC 1
◆ ENV 4 triggers a 20 second looping wave scan of OSC 2
◆ Throughout the video you'll see me making minor adjustments to the Cutoff, Resonance and Drive/Morph as well as the onboard Reverb and Delay. The six notes triggered at the beginning do not change.
◆ The backyard sounds were recorded on the same day with a single small diaphragm condenser mic.
◆ Some subtle panning effects were added in post as well as some compression and limiting, but for the most part this is all raw audio.
📷 All video recorded with a Pixel 6 phone. Macro shots captured with the Xenvo Clarus 15x Macro clip on lens.
