River Flows in You is a solo piano composition composed by South Korean pianist and composer Yiruma and recorded on his second 2001 album First Love, along with other famous melodies such as Kiss the Rain and Maybe.
In the piece, of contemporary music, there are many elements that can also be traced back to pop and New Age sounds.
The main theme is repeated and in the refrain it is developed with many musical embellishments as in other pieces by the same author, such as Maybe. Although based on a few chords it is a very expressive piece.
River Flows in You (Un fiume scorre in te in italiano) è una composizione per pianoforte solista composta dal pianista e compositore sudcoreano Yiruma e incisa nel suo secondo disco del 2001 First Love, insieme ad altre famose melodie come Kiss the Rain e Maybe.
Nel brano, di musica contemporanea, sono presenti molti elementi riconducibili anche alle sonorità pop e New Age.
Il tema principale si ripete e nel ritornello viene sviluppato con molti abbellimenti musicali come in altri brani dello stesso autore, quali Maybe. Pur basandosi su pochi accordi è un brano molto espressivo.
