LiFlames is a term blending "Light" and "Flame". Though initially evoking passion and brilliance, they accentuate the shadows further away. The modern organ's diverse tones at Couvent des Dominicains will be skillfully employed to highlight this contrast. Works by French composers Duruflé, Messiaen, and Florentz resonate with "Light," while works by Japanese composer Nishimura and French composer Alain evoke "Flames". Conversely, Russian composer Gubaidulina's "Hell und Dunkel für Orgel" embodies shades of darkness.
