Join us for an evening of conversation on the documentary movie Art Paul of Playboy: The Man behind the Bunny, between Jennifer Hou Kwong/director and Suzanne Seed/Paul's Widow
Art Paul is the founding art director of Playboy Magazine and creator of the iconic bunny logo. This feature-length documentary movie presents Paul’s life and his achievements.
Kwong and Seed will discuss the production of the film, and Paul as an artist, art director, mentor, and whimsical writer. They will also address how Paul changed the landscape of graphic design in magazine. Paul and Seed had a loving marriage for over 45 years, which is presented in the film as well.
Kwong, a.k.a, Jian Ping, is the author of Mulberry Child, and Seed, a published writer and photographer. They will talk about their professional lives and how this film brought them working together closely for four years.
