I've wanted to cover something from this game for a long time! It's difficult to overstate the impact Super Mario 64 had on the video gaming landscape. It was arguably the first game to show that 3D platforming could feel as fluid and satisfying as 2D platforming, and it's all the more amazing that this was achieved as one of the first games on new hardware. Hope you enjoy this cover from it, hopefully it won't be my last exploration of the OST!
This track uses patches 15 and 21 of the built in sounds of the Akai EWI 4000s.
