S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 - Heart of Chornobyl #1,322: Medulin's Stash & Malachite Mercs

Описание: I left STC Malachite and went to the south and then southwest, where according to my PDA Map, the reward stash Medulin gave me was along some railroad tracks. I found the stash inside a locked train boxcar, along with a second stash in a safe and other supplies. From there I went east, through the woods and past the small ponds, across the railroad tracks and to the place where I expected to find Ward at a campfire. There was only two Ward there, that I talked to briefly and then they left.

I decided to go south, across the railroad yard and up the hill, to the location among some boulders where a Monolith altar had been made. A transmitter was glowing but did not seem to do anything in the time I had visited before. This time I pulled out my detector and even though I did not see an anomaly field, my detector shows over a dozen artifacts before me. I quickly discovered they were not real but phantoms, and then I was attacked by two Ward, that also were phantoms. After killing them, I kept searching among the phantom artifacts until I found a real one, a Thorn.

I left the area and went northeast, going back across the railyard and to the south wall of the Malachite Repair Facility. I went in through a broken wall and inside the building, where I came out the other end, and was suddenly facing several Mercenaries in Wolfhound armor. I got into a firefight with three of them out in the open and then with three more coming out of the garage stalls in the rear. My HUD told me the threat was not over, as I played a cat and mouse game with the last Merc, who was armed with an SVD. Right as I arrived back at STC Malachite, an Emission arrived.
