Recorded at TNQ7 Townsville via the Telecom state microwave bearer from BTQ7 Brisbane. Outro from NQTV News with John Hurst. BTQ7 news with Mike Higgins & Nev Roberts. Mike live from SEQ8 Maryborough presumably to tie in with the Mall to Mall race from Townsville to Brisbane which occurred between August 28th & September 2nd 1983. Also, I wasn't aware that SEQ8 had a return link to send the feed back to Brisbane pre-satellite times! Note all 3 stories in the opener are from overseas. First story from Leigh Hatcher.
