To reset your GMC Acadia's tire pressure sensor, first ensure all four tires are inflated to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, found on the driver's door jamb sticker. Incorrect pressure is the most common cause for the warning light. After adjusting, drive your Acadia for at least 10-20 minutes at speeds above 30 mph. This driving cycle allows the system to re-read the sensor data and often extinguishes the warning light automatically. If the light persists, your vehicle may require a manual reset. Some Acadia models allow a reset through the Driver Information Center (DIC) or infotainment system; navigate to the "Tire Pressure" menu and look for a reset or relearn option. For newer sensors or after tire rotations, a dedicated TPMS relearn tool might be necessary. This device activates each sensor individually, putting the system into a relearn mode which can be performed in your garage or by a professional.
