Spent the morning exploring Kenitra 🇲🇦 — a city full of contrast, with moments of beauty and areas that need some care.
started off beautifully with breakfast at the River Club — peaceful vibes, great food, and lovely views by the water.
Next, I visited Kasbah Mahdiyya, the historic fortress originally built by the Portuguese. Unfortunately, the surrounding area was in serious disrepair — broken benches, cracked sidewalks, weeds growing everywhere, and neglected exercise equipment.
To end the day on a brighter note, I stopped by the local fish market — full of life and fresh catches. I even picked up some fish to bring home!
