Relax your eyes and release tension with eye "stretches"
With this exercise I teach techniques to release the area of the eyes, forehead, face and trigeminal nerve behind the eyes and to release tension headaches.
I recommend doing the exercises regularly, for example, during the workday to prevent (tension) headaches. You can do just one exercise or all of them. Also, look as far away as possible during the day so that your eyes can rest. Especially if you work staring at screens.
Below are the most important points for doing the exercise, if you want to do the exercise anywhere, anytime, even without a video.
Notes for doing the exercise without video
Facial relaxation and eye area stretches
Become present in the present and perform a face and head scan, bringing your attention to different parts of your body, consciously relaxing them. Temples, eyes, brain lobes, jaws, nostrils, and the entire head.
Eye stretches
Note: take a break between each of these exercises by closing your eyes and relaxing your eyes and eye area completely.
Eyes closed (or open) bring your gaze to the point between your eyebrows.
Make a semicircle at the top of your eyes, looking up center-right-center-left
Look from side to side with your eyes
Look diagonally with your eyes: right up, left down, and left up and right down
Eyes closed, relax your eyes completely.
Gaze at the point between your eyebrows, with an exhalation activate your pelvic floor muscles.
Look sideways at your nose
Make a big circle with your eyes in both directions
Finally, consciously relax your entire face: eyebrows, eyeballs, nostrils, eyelids, brain lobes, ears.
